Editorial policy
How we source and review the information published by SCG Solutions — and what we will not claim without evidence.
Our aim is practical, current guidance that helps a UK business make a decision. The SCG Solutions technical and editorial team reviews dated guides and the sources attached to them. A source linked on a page takes precedence if it has changed since our review.
Service and decision guides
Our service pages are written from the products SCG Solutions supplies and the questions customers ask during surveys, bill reviews, migrations and support. Time-sensitive guides show a genuine review date. We update that date only when the guidance has been checked or materially changed.
Manufacturer specifications
Device specifications are taken from the manufacturer or its official support material. Every device page links to that primary source. Configurations, colours, storage and availability can vary, so SCG Solutions confirms them as part of a quotation rather than presenting catalogue data as live stock.
Regulation and network changes
For switch-offs, regulation and legal deadlines we prefer the regulator, government department, network operator or infrastructure owner. The linked source remains the authority if its timetable changes after our last review.
Commercial and service claims
Group-scale and service statistics are linked to the SCG source that publishes them. The business-mobile saving is an SCG Solutions internal average from customer bill reviews, reviewed in August 2026; individual savings vary with current contracts, usage, coverage and device requirements.
Customer stories
We publish a customer name, quotation or measured result only where the story is already approved for publication. SCG group stories remain linked to their original publication rather than being copied onto this domain. New SCG Solutions case studies will be published here only with customer permission and evidence for their outcomes.
