Microsoft Teams Calling with Fuse 2
Unify your telephony and collaboration on a single platform — powered by our Fuse 2 integration for unrivalled features and flexibility.
Request a quoteOne Platform. Every Call.
If your team already uses Microsoft Teams for chat, video and file sharing, why run a separate phone system? Our Fuse 2 platform integrates full telephony into Teams — so every call, every contact and every feature lives in one place.
Keep your existing numbers, eliminate expensive hardware, and give every team member a seamless calling experience — whether they are in the office, at home or on the move.
The decision worth making carefully is not whether to put calling in Teams but which route to take, because there are two and they cost differently. Direct Routing uses Microsoft Phone System licences you either already hold or have to buy; an operator-connected route provides the calling without them. Which is cheaper depends entirely on your existing Microsoft agreement, so it is a question to answer from your licence position rather than from a price list.
It is also worth asking honestly whether everybody needs it. Teams calling suits people who are already in Teams all day and want one fewer application open. It suits a busy reception desk far less well — handling several calls at once, transferring quickly and seeing who is free is still done better on a phone system built for it, and a great many businesses end up running both rather than choosing.
Two Ways to Enable Teams Calling
Evonex MS Teams Voice
Add an Evonex Teams Voice licence to your hosted telephony. Your Evonex user gets a fully integrated Teams calling experience with all the features of the Evonex platform — IVR, call queuing, DDI reporting and more.
Callable Teams Direct Routing
Already have Microsoft Phone System licences? Callable connects your existing Teams environment to the PSTN via Direct Routing — giving you external calling capability without changing your setup.

Microsoft Teams Calling with Fuse 2 — Common Questions
Is Teams Calling cheaper than a Microsoft calling plan?
For most businesses, yes. Fuse 2 typically delivers a lower per-user cost than Microsoft calling plans while adding call analytics and DDI-level resilience. The comparison that matters is against your own Microsoft agreement rather than list price, though, because what you already hold changes the answer — which is why we start from your licence position rather than a quote.
Do I need Microsoft Phone System licences?
Only for the Direct Routing route. If you do not already hold Phone System licences, Evonex MS Teams Voice gives you calling inside Teams without them, which is usually cheaper for a business not otherwise buying the higher Microsoft tiers. Where you already hold the licences, Direct Routing makes use of something you are paying for regardless.
Will my numbers change?
No. Geographic numbers port across, including 01, 02, 03 and 08 ranges, so customers keep calling the number they already have and nothing printed needs reissuing. The numbers are not tied to the platform or to the building either, which means a later office move does not put them at risk again.
